Welcome to the Weather 20/20 Intelligence Report. We will be discussing one of the more exciting periods of time for weather interests around the world. The new LRC is now in its very earliest stages of evolving.
The Lezak Recurring Cycle (LRC) was named in 2003 by the bloggers of the popular weather blog at KSHB-TV. We had been predicting accurate long range forecasts over 20 years ago in the blog, and the bloggers that it deserved a name, and it stuck from there. What is it? The LRC is the centerpiece of a big atmospheric jigsaw:
In the first bullet point on the slide above, it states “A unique weather pattern sets up every year in the first few weeks of fall”. Here we are on October 1st, but in my 37 years of tracking these weather patterns, we have learned that it is still the old weather pattern at this point. So, as I often say to those following the developing LRC is to have patience!
