Tropical Update: The Sixth Named Storm Of The Season Is Likely Soon
Let's take a look at the LRC and the latest prediction for a named star
The Sixth Named Storm of the season in the Atlantic Basin is likely within the next week or so.
The National Hurricane Center is tracking three potential development zones on this August 30, 2024. Weather 20/20 has been monitoring these same areas to produce organized tropical activity since the March 4, 2024 prediction. Here are those predictions:

The latest European and American Model runs show a system valid September 9th, or 10 days from now as shown below:
Residents along the Gulf Coast states, particularly the northeast Gulf of Mexico need to begin preparations now. We have high confidence a system will form. Hi Gary, am I right in saying that the most likely landfall of the storm shown with the Euro and American model would be closer to the panhandle or east of it? I’m in SE Louisiana .
