Welcome to our weekend tropical update of the Weather 20/20 Intelligence Report! There is a disturbance in the Atlantic that the NHC just put out a 20% X on it, but development seems unlikely. There is also a disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico with no development expected. Before we look at the Atlantic disturbance I would like to continue our monitoring of the horrific and deadly Texas flood disaster with this update:

There are still 100 missing and the death count is now up to 135. What a horrible disaster. We have continued doing more analysis of the set up for this Guadalupe River flood and Tropical Storm Barry’s moisture was definitely a factor in some additional rain that fell. It may have been what put it over the top. Very sad. And, this also showcases an LRC relationship to this storm. One day in the future we will have enhanced LRC warnings once our discovery gets out to the world.

The NHC is showing this yellow X with a 20% probability of any development in the next few days. I will show the satellite movie in the video:
